A giving site is a campaign site that never stops. Editors need to stand up a new appeal quickly, with its own look, without a developer and without inventing a new template every time.
The answer is a component library disciplined enough to be reusable and flexible enough that nobody routes around it. Existing content was migrated across with the Migrate API, and the site was audited and prepared for its next major-version move rather than left to drift.
